Stockbridge Pipe Band has extensive experience across all aspects of pipe band entertainment - from weddings and corporate hospitality to gala days, sporting fixtures, charity events and Beatings Retreat.
Our full pipe band comprises at least 18 musicians - ten pipers, one bass drummer, three tenor drummers and four side drummers - and on most occasions we exceed these numbers, fielding up to 30 musicians. We can lead your parade anywhere in Edinburgh and across the Lothian and Fife area.
For more intimate occasions, we offer mini bands of 8 to 12 musicians or a solo piper - perfect for wedding receptions, dinners, and private events. A Beat the Retreat is also a wonderful way to round off a corporate evening or wedding day in style.
With three bands' worth of music, our repertoire is constantly evolving. As well as selecting new MSR, Medley and MAP sets each year, we have a broad selection of marches in 3/4, 4/4, 9/8 and 6/8. For corporate and wedding engagements we have dedicated sets and can tailor our programme to include specific requests.

We are available for weddings, corporate events, parades, gala days, charity events and celebrations across Edinburgh and Scotland.
Past engagements include corporate Beat Retreats and wedding performances at prestigious venues including the Royal Yacht Britannia, Hopetoun House, Dundas Castle, Gosford House, Mansfield Traquair and Edinburgh Castle. We also perform regularly at the annual Edinburgh May Day Parade and Diwali celebrations.
New engagements often arise at short notice - if we are available, we will always endeavour to provide a band.
