We do not use cookies, tracking scripts or analytics tools on this website, and we do not collect any information passively from visitors. 3. Why We Collect This Information

We collect personal information for two purposes only:

  • Booking enquiries - to respond to requests to hire the band for weddings, corporate events and other engagements, and to provide a quote and confirm arrangements.
  • Membership enquiries - to follow up with people interested in joining the band and to direct them to the right contact within the band.

The lawful basis for processing this information is legitimate interests, specifically, our legitimate interest in responding to people who have contacted us, and in some cases the steps taken prior to entering into a contract with us.

4. How Your Information Is Handled

Form submissions on this website are processed by Formspree, a third-party form handling service. When you submit a form, your data is transmitted securely to Formspree's servers and forwarded to us by email. Formspree acts as a data processor on our behalf. You can read Formspree's privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

Once received, your information is handled by members of the Stockbridge Pipe Band committee. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with any other third parties.

5. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain enquiry information for up to 12 months from the date of receipt, or until the purpose for which it was provided has been fulfilled, whichever is sooner. Booking-related correspondence may be retained for longer where required for contractual or accounting purposes.
